“Never give up.”
Louis Chevrolet
Louis Chevrolet was born in 1878, in La Chaux-de-Fond, Switzerland, in a family of a poor watchmaker. During his childhood, he helped his father to assemble and repair watches. He liked to take to pieces different things, study their structure and technical characteristics. Probably, his hobbies have turned his name into one of the most significant names in the automobile industry. However, he also remained his trace not only in the automobile industry but also in the field of watchmaking. His chronograph Frontenac 5200 model of wristwatches, equipped with quartz movement Ronda 5010, gives proof of it.
At the beginning of 2001, the new model is presented at the GTE exhibition. The model has 7 types of PVD coatings of a steel case (at the same time all coatings have frosted versions), 5 colours of a dial and a wide range of straps. Like all Louis Chevrolet watches, the Chronograph Rattrapante model is decorated with numerous eights. Chevrolet believed that number eight brought him luck, as a result this number is painted both on the back case and on the belt rivet. In 2011 the company presented its new models at the same exhibition.
Wristwatches of the Louis Chevrolet brand will perfectly match active people adoring endless changes as well as being always in search. From the start, these watches reflects the conception of moving.
