Limes Watches

Limes is the German watch brand producing high-quality wristwatches with complicated functions. The company was established in Pforzheim, Germany, in 1924. Karl Ickler, the founder of family watchmaking business, had gained great experience as head of the manufacturing department for a foreign watch company before founded its own one. During World War II the watchmaking factory was stopped.  But in 1947 the production was resumed  by Karl's two sons. Since 1990 the company has made Private Label Urben watches taking into account the personal wishes of clients. Some years later, Ickler watches were begun to be sold under the Limes brand.
Today the Ickler watchmaking factory is run by the third-generation Thomas Ickler. Strict control and testing during all producing stages provides high quality of Limes watches. Making design has a significant meaning. Limes mainly holds classical tendencies towards style of wristwatches.
Limes collections of wristwatches consist of classical design, sporting, exclusive watches for women and also Private Label Uhren watches being made with due account taken of wishes of individual clients.        
The CHYROS collection includes watches of classical design with a Swiss automatic movement, a  silver or black colour dial with shining indexes, a case made of stainless steel and a strap made of natural leather.
The PHARO collection includes elegant watches of classical design with a Swiss automatic movement ETA complicated various modules depending on a model, a  guilloched dial and a strap made of natural leather. Within the collection there are models: the chronograph including a full calendar and a moonphase indicator (Vollkalender Chronograph), a manual winding and a power-reserve (Handaufzug Gangreserve), a power-reserve and a big date (Big Date), an open balance (Balancier Visible) and a day and date indicator (DayDate).
 The ENDURANS collection is intended for divers. Watches are water-resistant to 100 meters, very durable and time readable. Thanks to the low profile of a large case, watches are comfortable to wear in the everyday life. Models have straps or metal bracelets. The 1 Tausend Chronograph model has the Swiss automatic movement, ETA 7750 Elabore. The 1 Tausend GMT model with two time zones has the Swiss automatic movement ETA 2893-2, GMT movement. The Neptune 1 and Neptune 2 models has the Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW 200.
The DAMENUHREN -  ARTEMISIA collection includes elegant watches for women with a Swiss automatic movement ETA 2824-3. Within the collection there are models with a guilloched dial (Artemisia Guilloche) and a pearl dial (Artemisia Mother of Pearl). The both models are available with a case encrusted with brilliants. A leather strap is changeable for a steel bracelet.
