The Jacques Etoile watch company was founded in 1996 in Germany, in Lorrach. The founder of this brand is Klaus Jacob, who during his visits to Switzerland found the old manufactory calibers. Subsequently, these calibers were used in the creation of exclusive watches. Klaus Jacob is known as a specialist in the field of renovation and decorating the caliber Venus 175. In addition, Jacob uses the caliber 6300, taken out of production, for his wrist watches. This movement was created by the Unitas watch manufactory. This movement, gone down in history as the Felsa-Bidynator movement, shocked the world watch industry in 1942. In 1972 the famous ETA 2824 caliber was designed. The Jacques Etoile brand marked this event with releasing the Bidynator 72 watch equipped with the automatic movement ETA 2824-2. In 2006, at the BaselWorld exhibition the company presented the chronograph called Imola Chronograph that was equipped with the automatic movement ETA 7750. It has the stainless steel case (42 mm), the sapphire crystal and the alligator leather strap, and was water-resistant up to 100 meters. The brand has released watches called Lune & Etoile, on the dials of which the zodiac signs are shown, and this gives everyone the opportunity to buy a watch of his sign.
