Corum and yachting

This marketing system is completely justified and, in addition to its primary "market" function, makes the sport world of peculiar aesthetic revival, "burdened" by the latest technological developments in watch making. To your attention we present a well-known watch brand Corum, which for its chosen sports image has chosen yachting. This sporty-watch saga began in 1960 when watchmaker Corum released the model, dedicated to the famous English regatta Admiral's Cup. Corum Admiral's Cup became a cult less than a year. Every good sailor wanted to have this watch. In 1985, the Admiral's Cup race was called «Corum Trophy Race». In 1987 the yachting team named Corum appeared. Later the model Admiral's Cup has become the eponymous ancestor of the collection. Sea watch Corum has high technical characteristics that meet the requirements of sea racing. Admiral's Cup had such a huge success that has existed almost unchanged for 20 years.
However, increasing competition, imitation to other watch companies Admiral's Cup forced Corum to continue its development and improvement. Modifying Admiral's Cup, Corum periodically releases new models of this collection. Thus, in 2007, was presented a model Admiral's Cup Tides. This is a one-of-a-kind watch, having an indicator of time and intensity of the tides. The watch has a very complex "triple" mechanism for the creation of which took three years.
