The watch brand Badollet is one of the oldest companies in the world. It was founded in Paris in 1655 by Jean-Marc Badoglio. For generations, the company created high standards in the sphere of watchmaking. The company continued its activities until 1924, when by the result of the financial crisis it was forced to declare bankruptcy. After a nearly 80-year breaking, thanks to the efforts of the descendants of the Badollet family, the company revived in 2006. Modern Badollet with dignity continues the traditions of House Badollet.
The watches of Badollet are for innovation and sophistication. In the spring of 2010, the company unveiled the Tourbillon Stellaire. The watch is equipped with manufactory tourbillon mechanism. The main plate of the watch is of cosmic origin - it was created out of a meteorite. The second variation of the watch was presented in the same year. This watch has a mother of pearl dial; a mechanism is also made of meteorite, discovered in 1818. The caliber is connected to a flying tourbillon, the sapphire dial and the case back. The body is made of white palladium finished gold. The dial is made of a mixture of such semi-precious stones as lapis lazuli, jade brown, onyx, black or white nacre.
The model Observatoire 1872 with its design is reminiscent of a pocket watch of the XIX century. This model is devoted to the historical past of the company, when in 1872 the brand watches have won three first prizes at the Geneva Concours de l'Observatoire. The watch case in diameter 44mm is made of white gold decorated with 72 diamonds and 12 sapphires, the manufactory caliber BAD 1655 with manual winding is responsible for tourbillon and minute repeater work.
The watch Crystalball Chrongraph is one of the most exciting chronographs in the history of modern watchmaking. The watch case is made of 18-karat white gold with black PVD-coated, the dial is of onyx, diameter 44 mm, and the water resistant is up to 30 meters. The wristwatch is equipped with manufactory caliber BAD 1602 consisting a column wheel, manual winding, tourbillon and power reserve of 120 hours.
In 2011 at the watch exhibition Geneva Time Exhibition, held in Geneva from 16-21 January, the company introduced its new Badollet model.
