Armin Strom Watches

The Armin Strom watch brand creator is famous for his engraved hand-skeletonised watches. In 1989 he creates the smallest women skeleton-watch in the world that was noted in The Guinness Book of Records. Armin presents his masterpieces of high watch art at Basel Fair annually. In the beginning the watchmaker was specialized in antique watches restoration. In 1967, he purchased a boutique in Burgdorf, Switzerland, which was his workshop till 2000. In 2001, Armin Storm buys a new workshop in the watch capital of Switzerland – Biel. Here he continues creation of unique watch models in a strictly limited number. Armin Strom creates carved skeleton mechanisms, which in women models are often decorated with jewelries. Armin Strom made a great contribution in the development of skeletonised mechanisms. The lacy watch mechanisms strike with their technical and esthetic performance.
The company presented its own caliber One Week Earth based on exclusive ARM09 at Baselworld 2010. The series consist of only 100 pieces per each element (Water, Air, Earth, Fire). The watch consists of 146 details, the frequency is 18,000 a/h (alternations per hour), 34 ruby stones, the power reserve is 7 days. The watch case is crafted in titanium or stainless steel, black PVD treatment or 18-carat pink gold. The water resistance reaches 50 m. The antiglare sapphire glass.
