Arbutus Watches

In 1980 Albert Reid together with his brother founded Arbutus watch company in Canada. Albert called the company in honor of his hometown, which was partially destroyed by a fire.
 In 1992 Bomass company bought Arbutus brand, which introduced the brand's watches to the Asian market. Nowadays you can buy an Arbutus watch not only in Asia, but also in Europe and USA.
 In 1998 the brand produced its first automatic watch collection, which had a great success. The first collection was followed by another one, with models, equipped with mechanical movements, in 2000. Since 2005 the company has been producing the annual Limited Edition collection, including skeletonized watches, tourbillons and chronographs. Since 2008 the company has been producing mechanical watches. Nowadays the brand's designers are working on a collection, which will include not only watches, but also such accessories, as writing implements, tie clips, cufflinks, sunglasses.
 The company produces elegant models, that come both with leather straps and steel bracelets.
The Classic collection models are equipped with automatic movements, their cases are made of stainless steel, the straps are made of natural leather, the watches are water resistant up to 50 metres. The collection includes models with round and barrel-shaped cases, white and black dials.
  The Classic Sport collection models are equipped with automatic movements, their cases are made of stainless steel, the straps are made of natural leather, the watches are water resistant up to 50 metres. There are models, equipped with Moon phase indicators.
 The Ceramic collection models have steel cases and bracelets and rose gold bezels. The watches are equipped with automatic movements.
 The Lady collection is represented by sophisticated women's wrist watches with stainless steel cases and leather straps. The models' cases and bezels are decorated with jewels. The central or the bottom part of the dial is open, which allows you to watch the open movement's work. The models are equipped with automatic movements.
 The Skeleton collection presents watches with skeletonized dials. The cases are made of 316L stainless steel or of 18-carat gold with an IP coating, the straps are made of leather, the watches' water resistance is 50 metres.
 The Limited Edition collection has been produced by Arbutus company since 2005, it presents exclusive limited edition watches. It features models with skeletonized dials and models, equipped with Moon phase indicators, it also includes chronographs and tourbillons.
