Extreme Tourbillon Regulator Manufacture watches

Rich in traditions the Alpina manufacturer staked on the development of unusual technical constructions and original design ideas. Driven by a passion for innovation, the company presented a limited series of the Tourbillon Regulator Manufacture watches. This model perfectly combines the Alpina philosophy, creative approach to design and high-precision watch movement. The extraordinary watches marked a new chapter in the rich history of the company with its invention spirit that constantly made experiments with new materials, utilized in the movements’ assembly. The caliber AL-980, the base of Extreme Tourbillon Regulator Manufacture, was developed during more than three years. The in-house movement consisting of 188 details is characterized by some innovative features: Silicium Escapement Wheel and Silicium lever, Smart Weight Balancing™, fast oscillation at 28’800 BpH and an individually numbered Tourbillon-cage.
The Tourbillon is one the most complicated mechanisms; its creation requires highly qualified and experienced watchmakers. The perfect adjustable movement, machine finished details, improved construction of knots and details made the accurate Tourbillons. The Manufactured Tourbillon Regulator was completely conceived within the company’s workshops in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva. By development of new complicated mechanism the professional stuff proved once again that Alpina is one of the most creative watch companies, which develops rapidly and presents the new technical achievements to the watch lovers. The Extreme Tourbillon Regulator Manufacture model combined technical complexities with the sports characteristics. The watches were created for active people full of energy and a subtle sense of life. The designers carefully developed the color combination of all watch elements: a mat black dial is edged with golden case. The central hand count only minutes, the hour hand is on the separate dial at 10 hours. Besides the central hands and carbon small dial, you can see the unique and originally decorated bridges in the Tourbillon-cage. And a black PVD signature ALPINA oscillating weight is visible through the exhibition case back. Both front and reverse sides are equipped with sapphire crystals.
The stylish sport steel watches of uncompromising black color became a standard in the world of sport watches. The watches were issued in a limited edition of 18 numbered pieces.
