 Almanus is a German watch company producing exclusive wrist watches, which are notable for their design. The Almanus watches were created by drafts of the priest and watchmaker Pavel Almanus, who lived in the 15th century. His manuscripts, which contained the detailed information about mechanical watches, were found in the 16th century. The movements, dials, and all details necessary for creation of unique, prices and durable wrist watches were fully described in the watchmaker’s manuscripts. The most amazing fact is that in 15th century Almanus managed to create the watch drafts, which are currently used for the manufacture of precise watches.
Almanus issued the following collections:
The Benedictus: the dials are made from silver, the cases – from stainless steel, the straps – from alligator leather. This collection includes a model, decorated with 84 diamonds.
The Anterus: the collection includes a model with round gilded cases, white dials with Roman numerals. The straps  are made from alligator leather. There is a model which is provided with a little opening that shows the movement. The watches are provided with the Swiss automatic movements ETA.
The Vigilius: the dials are made from matt silver, the glasses are sapphire, the straps are made from natural leather. There are models, provided with indicator of the Moon’s phases.
The Sixtus: the collection includes models with sapphire and mineral glasses. There are models with white dials and black indexes, and vice versa with black dials and white numerals. The water resistance is up to 50 m. The collection includes models with leather straps and steel bracelets.
The Linus: the cases and bracelets are made from stainless steel, the glasses – from minerals. The watches are provided with Swiss automatic movements ÅÒÀ 2884.
The Donus: the collection presents watches, the cases of which are made from stainless steel, the hands and hours indicators are covered with luminescent treatment, showing the time in full darkness.
The Leonius: the models cases are crafted in stainless steel, the dials are covered with sapphire and mineral glasses, the leather straps. The water resistance is up to 30 m. The watches are provided with Swiss automatic movements ETA 2824.
